Oxford defines discipline as the practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience. Or a branch of knowledge, typically one studied in higher education. Which is weird because I thought Discipline could also mean to be consistent and deliberate in ones personal habits.

I lack a good hot minute of this stuff. I mean, I go to work, and I work hard every day. But what exactly is the act of consistently doing something, Like going to the gym or working a side hustle?

Well, if we think of these two definitions, we can see how they both relate in a manner. One being “rule following” and the other being of education. To be disciplined in this regard is to rule follow until something is learned, in whatever fashion it is learned.

Finding the courage to actually finish a project has always been my downfall . So far , I have always given up when self doubt or any negative feeling comes about. Eventually, I decide that the mental anguish is to much and have no choice but to let it go.

My intention is to start day trading, but the one thing I have learned about that discipline is that it takes,… well, discipline. I need to remove all vices , except for morning coffee. And I need to start working out, even if it is just going on a walk. Better habits need to form before I can move forward with a very strict rule following system of generating wealth. I need a 90 day break from all my vices, as I know after three months, staying on that path will be easy.

That being said, I still want to makes games, and music, and games with music.
